Capital that builds Latin America — and endures

Building Latin America's capital, companies, and institutions — to last.

I'm Cristián Roberts Castro — a real estate investor, strategist, and board member with more than two decades across Latin America. I care about deeper capital markets, stronger institutions, and a region that thrives — and about carrying forward a family legacy of building things meant to endure.

Why I do this work

Latin America's promise is real — and so is the work required to realize it.

Its next leap depends on deeper capital markets, stronger institutions, and capital deployed with discipline and care. That's the work I've given my career to.

What I do

Three threads of one career.

My work has run along three threads of a single career: investing, advising, and governing. Each taught me something about building things that last in Latin America.

As an investor

CREO Capital

As co-founder and managing partner, I invest in Latin American real estate — hospitality, residential, and mixed-use — pairing institutional discipline with deep local knowledge and a focus on impact that lasts.

As an advisor & builder

Prime

I founded Prime in 2007 and have advised corporations, families, and institutions on 450+ projects across 22 countries — work that taught me the region market by market.

As a board member & convener

Boards & institutions

I serve on boards across education, healthcare, mobility, and hospitality, and help convene the capital, talent, and institutions the region needs — because good governance is the quiet engine of enduring companies.

Where I sit today.

Most of my time and energy now goes to CREO Capital. Alongside it, I continue to build Prime — and I serve on the boards of institutions shaping the region.

The conviction

Real estate is never just real estate. It's where people live and work, where guests arrive and patients are healed, where students learn and families reconnect. These places hold our lives together.

— and only endure when they stay human-centered and planet-conscious.

I'm Cristián Roberts Castro — with more than two decades at the intersection of capital, strategy, and governance across Latin America. Above all, I'm a husband and a father of three, a Costa Rican who believes this region's best chapter is still unwritten.
